In an explosive Flamenco performance, RESISTIR combines profound study with fierce emotion and vulnerability.

RESISTIR (To Resist): struggle with/against, stand up to, withstand, stand one's ground against, confront, face up to. Through Flamenco, an art form that has for centuries been used to resist oppression, "RESISTIR" embodies our will and struggle to find the strength to stand and fight back. We remember the words of Toni Morrison: "This is precisely the time when artists go to work. There is no time for despair, no place for self-pity, no need for silence, no room for fear. We speak, we write, we do language. This is how civilizations heal."

Featuring: José Valle "Chuscales", Jesús Muñoz, Amalyah Leader, and Guest Artists TBA
