We INSPIRE, INFORM, and EMPOWER our Flamenco Community.

 “Flamenco Futures” is a leading model in asset building that combines college saving plans with financial education and real life experiences. We build hope for a better future by introducing and reinforcing the idea that postsecondary education and future economic well-being are achievable.  In collaboration with each family, we open up a 529 College savings account for each child who participates in our dance classes and give incentives as students participate in performances. Required financial literacy workshops for youth and family members throughout the year cover a range of topics from home ownership to entrepreneurship, personal budgeting to college preparation. In addition, we offer competitive summer apprenticeships for teenage dancers to gain real-life experience in working inside the arts as a performer, educator, and director.

Savings

At Flamenco Works we open up a 529 College Savings Account for every child who studies with us. Kids grow their accounts through performance and excellent class attendance. They also encourage their family and friends to support their dreams and give to their accounts.

Workshops

We give workshops for kids and parents in financial literacy, homeownership, investing, saving and budgeting, college preparation, and so much more!

apprenticeships

We offer apprenticeships for teens in our dance classes to gain real life experience working in the arts. Armed with a college, savings account, financial literacy, and real life experience, our dancers will be limitless as they go out into the world.
