Mercedes de Córdoba (Córdoba, Spain) is one of our time's most potent and authentic dancers. She was awarded the National Flamenco Award as well as many other awards for her choreography, including “SER, ni conmigo ni sin mí” and Olvidados, which received critical acclaim at events such as the 25th Festival de Jerez, the 21st Bienal de Flamenco de Sevilla, and the 6th Festival Flamenco Madrid. She has also contributed to the work of some of the biggest names in flamenco, such as Paula Comitre, Eva Yerbabuena, Fernando Jiménez, Adela Campallo, and Gema Moneo. Her contributions to the world of dance are truly remarkable. She is joined at Fiesta Flamenca Burqueña with an incredible line-up of musicians. She is also an internationally sought-after teacher, and we are so excited to have the opportunity for a week in Albuquerque.
